Overview
Under the direction of the RN, must demonstrate competency in basic and complex direct patient care and throughput processes. Performs only those designated patient care activities that he/she is competent to perform based on education, training and policy. Must demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization and prioritization skills. Is responsible for designated equipment and supplies used in the care of assigned patients. Must be flexible in changing assignments, workload and learning new skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
Hiring timeline:

Must attend the whole week: Week of December 9, 2024 (December 9 - December 13).
What you will need:
- Completion of first semester that includes basic fundamentals of nursing course in an accredited School of Nursing.
- Be in good standing within the nursing program and maintain GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Satisfactory Reference Form.
- Completed Nurse Extern Program letter (will be forwarded after you apply) to include completion of first semester (Basic Fundamentals of Nursing Course).
